The Absence of Complete Dark

In the world of Basodin, a land in which magic and technology live in harmony, the denizens of this land live their lives knowing they must be loved in some way. If not, a mysterious force known as the Dark comes for them, rendering them weak before finally killing them- and it always begins the same way: the decline of the subject’s sight.Yidarica is a 31-year-old woman who fears this being her fate, after growing up in a mentally unstable home and finding it impossible to establish lasting friendships, not to mention what a disaster her love life has been. She is determined to find those who will love her, so that she no longer has to fear the Dark coming for her. In the meantime, at her corporate job, she is saddled with a monumental project that she will need to use all of her smarts in order to complete. She works hard to show her higher-ups she’s a competent worker, all while wondering if the cute girl who works at the nursery near her house is actually flirting with her, and taking notice of the quiet, bespectacled coworker of hers.
