Les coopérations entre les deux institutions, l’école de musique et l’école ordinaire, offrent la possibilité de maintenir, voire d’améliorer, la qualité de l’éducation musicale à une époque où le système éducatif est en pleine mutation. De plus, la présence de l’école de musique dans les écoles ordinaires offre une situation de départ optimale pour représenter les intérêts de l’enseignement approfondi de la musique instrumentale et du chant. Afin de garantir le succès d’un projet de coopération, il convient toutefois de tenir compte d’un grand nombre de défis liés aux différences entre les deux institutions en termes de structure, de forme d’enseignement et de profil de qualification des enseignants. Les projets d’enseignement en équipe, qui nécessitent une collaboration entre les enseignants des écoles de musique et des écoles ordinaires à l’intérieur et à l’extérieur de la salle de classe, exigent une attention particulière lors de la conception et de la planification afin de générer une réelle valeur ajoutée pédagogique et didactique grâce à la présence d’un enseignant supplémentaire dans la classe.
