You Were Raised Better Than That

Mikey is a good kid who has always been taught the difference between right and wrong in school and at home. But after his bicycle is stolen, Mikey is overcome by temptation after seeing a red two-wheeler lying in a yard and decides to snatch it. Although his friend JJ attempts to talk Mikey into returning the bike, emotion wins over common sense, and he rides it home, only to discover his mother has lost something precious to her. Meanwhile, after the bikes owner discovers his beloved two-wheeler is missing, his parents call Officer Griffin, a kindly policeman known for creatively solving community problems and for teaching Mikey and his classmates about good and bad choices. Now Mikey must decide whether to confess to his parents and accept the consequences of his decision to steal the bicycle or keep his dark secret a secret. In this juvenile story, a boy learns a valuable life lesson about good and bad choices after his bicycle is stolen, and he decides to take matters into his own hands.
