ومنهجنا والحمد لله واضح جلي، بسيط غير مركب، سهل سلس أصوله سبعة هي: العهد مع السبحة والسياحة والحضرة والمرقعة وذكر الاسم المفرد والخلوة والسر.وقد جمعناها لك في حكمة تركناها لك نبراسا حتى لا تتخطفك السبل وتَحِيد عن طريق المحجة البيضاء، قلنا فيها: 'استحقر نفسك وعظم غيرك'؛ لازم أرض العبودية المحضة التي لا رائحة للربوبية فيها على أحد من الخلق.Our method-praise be to God-is clear and evident, simple and not complex, easy and fluid. Its foundations are seven: The Covenant (al-ʿahd) with the Rosary (al-subḥa), Spiritual Itinerancy (al-siyāḥa), the Sufi Dance (al-ḥaḍra), the Patchwork Cloak (al-muraqqaʿa), the Invocation of the Singular Name (dhikr al-ism al-mufrad), the Spiritual Retreat (al-khalwa), and the Secret (al-sirr).We have gathered them for you in an aphorism (ḥikma) which we left as a beacon (nibrās) for you, lest the paths snatch you away and you deviate from the White Path (al-maḥajja al-bayḍāʾ). In it, we said: 'Deem your self insignificant and exalt others.' Adhere to the ground of pure Servanthood (ʿubūdiyya) wherein there is no scent of Lordship (rubūbiyya) over any of creation.
