We are once again happy to meet with you at the International Home&HousewaresShow 2015 in Chicago, which is recognized as one of the significant fairs in theindustry in terms of house wares, kitchenwares, and cooking equipment, in which weparticipated for the 11th time and with 20 Turkish companies. Another fair where wemet is the Hong Kong Houseware fair… We are also attending this fair for the 11thtime this year, and plastic and metal hose-bathroom wares, stainless steel, cast ironand aluminum cookware and glass souvenir product groups will be displayed in thenational participation booths of 23 Turkish companies.We would like to give you news of an event we had held last year. The eighth overseasmarketing event of the Turkish House and Kitchenwares Overseas Marketing Teamwas held with a focus on Sweden and Denmark. 14 participants from 12 companiesincluded within the project cluster, two officials and project partners representingIDDMIB as well as one person representing IKMIB took part in the event held betweenNovember 23-28, 2014.Let us briefly mention the titles we have included in our magazine, which wehope you will read with pleasure. In our brand story page, we were guests of KingPazarlama (King Marketing). Having manufactured the first thermos bottles in Turkeyafter its founding in 1953 and been incorporated in 1974, King Pazarlama has beenmanufacturing and importing small appliances for the home since 1985. Other firmswe interviewed were Aker, Alco, Bager Plastik, Doğuş Plastik, Egemen, Luyano, Nouval,and Rositell.In our styling pages we compiled many products designed by the Turkish kitchenwaresector and presented them to you, to add to your list of needful things. We do notdoubt that you will be interested in the brand new designs of Turkish companies whichchoose to remain in the foreground with their quality and design.We have also interviewed successful designers. Ali Bakova, Aslı Aydoğan, MeltemMaralcan, .züm Özkan, and Semiha Kan were guests of this issue.İlhan Güler, who is currently the chef of the Wyndham Grand Istanbul Levent CarêmeRestaurant shared his story of how he began cooking, and his special reciped withTurkish Kitchenware.As we wish success at the IHHS and Hong Kong fairs for participants and the entiresector, we hope you will enjoy the magazine we have prepared for you.
