Ora Neumann was desperate. Since her mother’s death, she had been consumed by a dark cave of grief and depression from which there seemed to be no escape, neither by her loving family nor her faith. Shaken by her encounter with a well-known psychic, she angrily dismisses her last hope. Ora couldn’t have known that the visit was only the first step in her search for answers, as she tries to unravel the secrets of her mother’s mysterious past. This I Know is an emotional quest which takes Ora back to an uncle she barely knew and the revelation, spanning time and place, of her mother’s work in a secret munitions factory during the Israeli War for Independence. The journey leads her back to her Brooklyn roots and ultimately another discovery—the discovery of who Ora herself really is.
