I was inspired to write the story “The Very Hungry Moth “I found that there were not many books written about moths. The were countless number of books about caterpillars and their journey to become a glorious butterfly. No one seems to pay attention to the other family of butterflies which are moths. In the story “THE VERY HUNGRY MOTH”. A young larvae’s journey to find natural materials around the house to eat. She finds silk, linen, leather, feather, cashmere and cotton fabric to munch before she forms a silk chrysalis to an adult moth. She flutters her wings in the darkness of the night and finds her family and friends.
