The Travelers Detective Club is a secret organization made up of young people between the ages of 11-16 who, along with their magic guides, solve mysteries around the world.  In this first installment of the TDC, Jeremy and Devon, armed with a cryptic note and their newly acquired magic buddies, explore Portugal while attempting to recover four magical objects before they fall into the wrong hands.  They must negotiate relationships with their often outspoken buddies while addressing assumptions about the world and themselves in order to restore an important symbol of Portugal.
