Ende der 1970er Jahre begann die AIDS-Pandemie, eine damals noch unbekannte Krankheit, auf der ganzen Welt verheerende Schäden zu verursachen. Homosexuelle wurden sofort als eine der zahlreichen 'Risikogruppen' identifiziert. Zehn Jahre später, Ende der 1980er Jahre, entwickelte sich in den USA eine neue Sexualpraktik zwischen HIV-positiven Mitgliedern der Schwulengemeinschaft. Unter dem Namen 'Bareback' (englisch für 'nackter Rücken') ging es darum, sich zu riskanten Sexualkontakten zu bekennen und sie zu akzeptieren. In dieser Arbeit beschränken wir uns auf eine psychosoziologische Analyse einer virtuellen Bareback-Treffpunktseite. Wir werden also drei Achsen des Interesses abstecken: eine erste subjektive, eine zweite gruppenbezogene und eine dritte sozio-historische. Ziel ist es, zu verstehen, was der spezifische Modus der Bindung zwischen den Mitgliedern der untersuchten Website ist.
