Nine Lives

Nine Lives is the true story of a simple woman plagued by her twenty-year addiction to drugs and alcohol. Rather than succumb to the miseries of an abusive home or to the addiction that began at only twelve years old, Gina continues to fight for the freedom of a normal life with the help of her very own Guardian Angel. Sometimes she loses her battles, but she finally wins her war because of her unfailing belief in God and her belief that God believes in her, no matter what. A story that exposes the perils of addiction and the power of God to overcome that addiction, Nine Lives shows the love of God for all his creatures and the manifestation of that love in man himself. The book also tells the story of the three men in Gina’s life who love her, but who she feels she must reject in order to protect them from her crippled state. Finally, though, Gina learns to accept the unconditional love of the man who is now her husband, a man whose love mirrors the love she feels from and toward God.
