How frequently have you been exposed to the sentiment 'Love has the capacity to mend all wounds' or 'Love represents the singular beacon of hope in existence' or akin expressions of that nature?As one observes their surroundings, they witness individuals contentedly immersed in romantic relationships and expressing heartfelt admiration through poetic verses celebrating the miracles of love. And thereafter, you are perplexed as to the cause of your inability to experience any emotions. One experiences solely a deep discomfort in one’s abdomen, coupled with a pervasive sensation of trepidation and constant vigilance. However, one’s actions were simply expressions of affection, correct? Despite your good intentions and actions, it appears that this love you speak of lacks a transformative or restorative quality. Instead, it seems to be causing detrimental effects by driving you to madness, and you are becoming aware that the changes you are undergoing are not for the better.They perceive themselves as the preeminent individual in the room, or even globally, thereby anticipating a certain manner of behavior from others in acknowledgement of their status. They equally encounter challenges in exhibiting empathetic qualities, thereby displaying a lack of capacity to recognize the distinct cognitions, emotions, and perspectives that exist within individuals other than themselves.
