’La Nueva corónica y buen gobierno es un largo memorial, ilustrado con 398 dibujos, que Felipe Guaman Poma de Ayala, indio de la región de Huamanga, dirigió al Rey de España a inicios del siglo XVII. Esta crónica, cuyo original se conserva en la Biblioteca Real de Dinamarca, constituye uno de los más extraordinarios documentos sobre la civilización inca, así como la vida y la condición de opresión de los andinos durante el primer periodo colonial.
