O objetivo deste estudo foi documentar as experiências e atitudes relatadas pelos diretores e professores de seis escolas primárias urbanas em Sāmoa após quase um ano da implementação do Currículo Reformado das Escolas Primárias de Sāmoa. O currículo reformado foi adotado pelas escolas em janeiro de 2013. Dez meses após a implementação do novo currículo, em outubro de 2013, os dados para este estudo foram recolhidos em seis escolas primárias urbanas por meio de entrevistas presenciais aprofundadas com 29 professores, bem como entrevistas presenciais individuais com os seis diretores dessas escolas primárias.
