Hunting Tales, through the great inspiration of its writer, tells the stories of the adventures and exciting encounters of Luis Gerardo Castillo Vargas, inveterate hunter, founding member of the Safari Club Internacional Central Peru Chapter, and President of the Peruvian Hunting Association, throughout our rugged geography. Hunting Tales will transport you, along with the narrator, to experience the adventures described here as if they were real.These are a description of the author’s hunting trips, mixed with a bit of imagination. Some friends will recognize themselves in the stories and the author makes it clear that any resemblance to reality is mere coincidence. Some of the stories are humorous and others painful, but do not be guided by names and places that are all imaginary. Moreover, some of the species are now protected by law. The quality of the photos is due to their antiquity.The author states: ’I hope you enjoy it as much as I did writing and recalling it. This first volume relates to my beginnings and some big game hunting trips in my country, Peru. I am also fond of small game hunting, and I have also exchanged some hunts parties with friends from abroad, which will be the subject of the following chapters.
