Hoodwinked, Bamboozled, And Led Astray is a nonfiction book about the unimaginable life of Dexter Sanders. He experienced extreme highs and some of the deepest lows in his life as reflected in this powerful story. He encountered spiritual struggles as he tried to sort out what God expected of him in a world where others seemed to only 'practice' religious rituals but were not truly dedicated to seeking God and understanding what His will was for their lives. Through hard work and determination, Dexter was able to enjoy the best life could offer, however, he often made poor decisions. Soon, he found himself struggling with drug addiction, time and time again, which impacted his career and his ability to be a good father and husband. Things were not going the way he had envisioned. Dexter writes, 'God elevated me from the depths of addiction hell to what I thought was a promising ministry serving God and others. But I took my eyes off Him and lived more for myself than anything or anyone else.' He openly shares what can happen when you take your eyes off of God. He reveals that he faced spiritual warfare as well as many other trials and tribulations, including drug addiction, extra-marital affairs, being ostracized, criticized, hoodwinked, bamboozled, and being led astray. With the help of God, Dexter was able to reconnect with his family and discover God’s purpose for his life. Now, he has been placed in a position to help others find their way to God. Go on this journey with Dexter to find your way back2God.
