En este libro nos vamos a introducir en la historia, el origen y la cultura de las principales organizaciones terroristas islámicas, para que el lector tenga una visión general de sus características principales. Pero como introducción a este trabajo voy a empezar por analizar algunas definiciones de terrorismo, así como estudiar esta conducta desde distintos ámbitos: académico y psicológico, intentando llegar a una noción propia en esta investigación. A su vez, este trabajo desarrolla la forma en que operan los distintos tipos de terrorismo que hoy desafían la seguridad global, sus características, su división y actuación mutua dentro de un espacio geográfico concreto.
