Les conditions d’étude et d’enseignement en France se détériorent depuis de très nombreuses années. Les réformes fondamentales, de nombreuses fois repoussées depuis 1968, ont conduit ce pays à produire des élèves qui se retrouvent dans les profondeurs des classements internationaux qui jugent du niveau de langue et de mathématiques. D’ailleurs, si 13% des élèves de lycée n’auront jamais le bac, 60% de ceux qui l’on n’ont pas le niveau culturel et intellectuel nécessaire pour se débrouiller dans l’enseignement supérieur. Aussi, cette nouvelle réforme a pour but de remédier à cela en prenant le problème dans une optique méthodologique. Ainsi, puisque les élèves n’arrivent plus a maîtriser un grand nombre de matières, il se contenteront d’un socle commun beaucoup plus restreint. Dans cet ordre d’idée, les exercices habituels dans le supérieur étant la dissertation et l’explication de document, on demandera aux gens de s’exercer dans cette otique dès le début de la classe de seconde et de les maîtriser parfaitement à la fin de la terminale. Aussi, je vous engage, dès à présent, à monter la haute marche qui sépare le collège du lycée, à laisser de côté la synthèse et la réponse courte pour vous tourner vers la réflexion originale, la construction d’une pensée autonome fondée, bien sûr, sur l’observation et la compréhension de faits issus de documents, mais aussi la logique, le raisonnement, la raison.
