My book is about holidays I have taken with immediate family, friends from school or my school career as a senior teacher all over the world, including most of the UK, nearly all Europe, Australia, South Africa, Canada and the USA. It has serious stories in it, but is mostly about things that perhaps didn’t perhaps go quite as they should, and there were many little disasters. It is basically a poor man’s Bill Bryson’s travel around the Gordon holidays.
