Whether you are someone who has a good walk with the Lord or just wanting to draw closer to Christ. Every person of faith finds themselves wanting or needing of a better connection with God. For the person who has drifted, we don’t always remember how it happened or how we arrived at that point in our spiritual journey. However, we are all at one time or another, awakened by the realization that we want more of God. We remember as David did in the Psalms, times where we enjoyed our relationship and our closeness with God. He says, 'These things I remember as I pour out my soul: how I used to go to the house of God under the protection of the Mighty One with shouts of joy and praise among the festive throng.' (Psalm 42:4, NIV) So, we make the decision and commitment to grow in our faith and press hard after God once again. To experience the thriving faith that we want for ourselves.Our hope and prayer are that you take these next thirty days with the Going Deeper Devotion and be purposeful in pressing hard after God through these reflections. Each day has a passage that will help the reader be reminded of God’s Faithfulness and goodness. The Big Idea for that reflection and passage giving the main point or permanent principle. An expanded take-away thought in the Insight section. Along with a daily Challenge and Prayer sections to solidify the reflection and growth for that respective devotion.
