Morquio syndrome is an autosomal recessive disease characterized by a connective tissue disorder, with various musculoskeletal alterations that compromise lung function, such as reduced thoracic dimensions. Objective: To assess the impairment of the respiratory system in patients with Tokyo Syndrome. Methodology: This study is characterized as a quantitative and explanatory case study. The sample was non-probabilistic by accessibility and consisted of two children. An evaluation form, sphygmomanometer, stethoscope, digital manovacuometer, tape measure and ventilometer were used to obtain the data.
