Hay mayor presencia de mujeres en la investigación numismática y quizás hasta en el comercio numismático, pero coleccionistas, pocas.Así es como en mayo de 2023, la psicóloga y numismática argentina Luciana Aldana, comienza una investigación acerca del coleccionismo numismático en mujeres.Esta investigación se extendió más allá de su propio país logrando dialogar con 107 mujeres numismáticas de 19 países del mundo: Argentina, Bolivia, Brasil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, El Salvador, España, Estados Unidos, Honduras, Italia, México, Nicaragua, Panamá, Paraguay, Perú, Puerto Rico, Uruguay y Venezuela.Una advertencia al lector: no es un estudio comparativo de hombres y mujeres, si no el relevamiento y ponderación de 107 voces femeninas que nos cuentan acerca de su estilo de colección, sus inicios en el mundo del coleccionismo, sus propuestas para multiplicar nuestra presencia en este campo y sus peripecias para formarse en Numismática siendo que, a la fecha, no existen carreras de grado de esta ciencia.En síntesis, esta obra nos sumerge en un enfoque único y necesario acerca del coleccionismo: la perspectiva de género en la Numismática. 10
