A obra aborda os fundamentos teóricos, os métodos de síntese e caracterização dos nanomateriais, bem como a fabricação e a validação experimental do sensor por técnicas eletroquímicas, com destaque para a espectroscopia de impedância eletroquímica.O objetivo central é desenvolver um sensor eficiente para a detecção de cortisol em baixas concentrações, com potencial aplicação em amostras reais, como saliva, contribuindo para o avanço de tecnologias biomédicas e dispositivos point-of-care.
