L’obiettivo di questo progetto di ricerca e sviluppo è progettare il prototipo Alpha di un serious game educativo (SEG) specializzato nell’apprendimento della lettura. Secondo Alvarez e Djaouti (2010), ciò che distingue un serious game da un videogioco strettamente ludico è l’aggiunta di una dimensione pedagogica allo scenario di gioco. L’obiettivo di questo SSG è quello di aiutare i bambini francofoni della scuola primaria di età compresa tra i 6 e gli 8 anni che hanno difficoltà di lettura o che presentano sintomi associati alla dislessia evolutiva. Diverse ricerche (Blaesius e Fleck, 2015 ; Franceschini, Gori, Ruffino, Molteni e Facoetti, 2013 ) hanno dimostrato i benefici dei videogiochi d’azione in contesti educativi, in particolare per i bambini con dislessia. La nostra ipotesi iniziale è quella di proporre l’aggiunta di una dimensione seria a un videogioco d’azione che consiste in esercizi adattati allo studente. Nell’ambito di questo progetto di tesi, è stato realizzato un prototipo di JSÉ ed è stata effettuata una valutazione dell’esperienza utente con il pubblico di riferimento. I risultati sperimentali sono promettenti. Tuttavia, dovranno essere apportate delle modifiche.
