Contrapuntos es una revista literaria que publica poesía, prosa, ensayo, fotografía y arte. La revista se distingue en publicar mayoritariamente desde los EE.UU. trabajos escritos en español, portugués e inglés.  Contrapuntos VII: Eros y Tánatos incluye una gran selección de poemas de escritores que residen en EE.UU. como es el caso de Consuelo Hernández, Alejandra Sequeira, Ilana Luna y Jorge Manzanilla. Además, para este número muchos más colaboran desde otras latitudes como es el caso de Harold Alvarado Tenorio, Katharina Kracht y diez miembros de la Escuela Enciclopédica China. En cuanto a la narrativa aparecen trabajos de Cristina Rentería Garita, Tim Fitts, Ewa Mazierska, Jesse Sensibar y una traducción a cargo de Lacie Rae Cunningham que nos entrega una nueva versión de un clásico de Amado Nervo. En la selección fotográfica y arte Indira Yadira Arianna García Varela escribe un ensayo sobre el trabajo fotográfico de Wellington Romão Oliveira y John Gueltzau.
