In the early seventies two young men set off on a short road trip around Scotland. Their mode of transport was a 1965 250cc Royal Enfield Crusader Sports. The journey can’t be described as epic, but it did have great significance in the author’s life. 1200 miles of tarmac were covered in just a few days, but it was the start of a spiritual journey that would last decades.John Pickering is a retired teacher who has spent much of his life as an evangelist, street preacher and Christian song writer. He has released several albums of his work, and you can listen to them using one of the music streaming service providers.He is currently the pastor of Hasland Baptist Church in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.
