Can Black Theology Become Ghetto Theology? For the Black professional looking to understand the truths of a Black theology made and designed by ghetto populations in a desire to redefine their world.Moving deeper into late modernity we can see urbanisation slowly getting replaced by ghettoisation with its attendant hypersexuality, hyperviolence, hyperexploitation, and underdevelopment. From within these conditions the Black underclass of Harlem, New York were able to build a philosophy and outlook that came to not only give them high levels of dignity, empowerment, and intelligence, but also gave them a culture and mentality that would dominate East Coast hip hop throughout what would come to be known as its golden age. This philosophy which is behind many of these East Coast hip hop artists is an outlook called the godbody outlook, containing many nuances that if given a fully rigorous treatment produce not only exceptional theories but also an enlightening theology that can make life in these times a lot more acceptable.
