Este trabajo fue desarrollado en el marco del Gabinete de Heurística de la Facultad de Arquitectura, Diseño y Urbanismo de la UBA. Su motivación principal fue revisar la naturaleza del actual sistema de formación de los diseñadores, caracterizar los efectos que este sistema produce en los alumnos y profesores y reflexionar sobre la posibilidad de modificar algunas características del quehacer de los docentes formadores. Se conoce el atraso que dicha Facultad tiene respecto a la enseñanza y la transmisión del diseño proyectual y la importancia de la formación de los docentes formadores.Esta obra analiza el material que surgió de observaciones realizadas durante el dictado de clases de la materia Diseño, en las carreras de Arquitectura y Diseño Gráfico, hace 5 años. Hoy se las retoma con el objetivo de pensar lo que sucede en los talleres, específicamente en lo que se refiere a la transmisión y a la enseñanza del diseño.
