Alex Montis
Alex decided to write this children’s book, inspired by an event that happened to her, but adapted for children aged 8-10 years. This tale tells a story of a black panther who finds himself and his two siblings alone after two humans arrived at the rainforest and killed their mother. The black panther had strong feelings against humans, but this would begin to change when he and his friend, the tapir, met a child. This story explores the bond between humans and wild animals, highlighting the importance of friendship and the resilience of the three friends in keeping in touch despite their parents’ objections.
